Our handmade Butt and Bead Framed and Ledge doors are also available as ledged and braced doors.
These doors will add real character to any period and traditional home, cottage interiors, and barn conversions. The grading is character/rustic grade pine with only occasional knots and attractive grain texture with colour variation, enhancing the appeal of these timeless doors. They are manufactured with mortice and tenon joints and supplied ready for final finishing. Brace packs are supplied loose to enable you to decide on-site which side you want to hinge the door on.
Rustic pine doors are designed to match the style of timber that would have been used in older properties. We retain all the characteristics found in rustic pine, from colour variation to minor splits and large knots. Anything that is a more significant feature will be filled; however, by default, we leave the door unfilled to retain all of its natural charm. This timber grade will not be for everyone, but if you are looking for something as original as it gets, this is the one to choose. These doors are manufactured with random or equally sized vertical plank widths and can differ from door to door in any order. The images shown are for general reference.
