Woodland Premium Solid Oak Character FD30 Ledge Fire Doors are traditionally hand-made from sustainably sourced solid French oak. They are constructed using two planks on the depth with fire retardant material between these layers.
Our solid oak ledge design cottage doors are hand-made from sustainably sourced rustic-grade French oak. These stylish doors feature attractive small knots to create a classic cottage door with a butt and bead design on the face with v groove detail on the rear. These traditional cottage doors have three chamfered ledges, glued and fixed with screws, and covered with discreet oak plugs that are sanded flush with the door's surface. The glue and screw method ensures a stable construction. Knots are carefully hand-filled and sanded, ready for final finishing. This saves significant time, effort, and disruption at the installation stage.
Please note: These doors are bespoke (made to order) as standard. This means the order cannot be amended or cancelled once placed. The lead time is approx 4-6 weeks from placing the order.
In addition, these doors can also be supplied made to measure. In non-standard sizes POA.
