Returns Policy

Returns and cancellations. - Applicable to consumer contracts. Business contracts are excluded from these terms.

Please note: The below applies to customers that have not previously inspected the goods by receiving a sample, visited our showroom, or had a Company representative visit them at another address.

We believe we offer top quality products and value for money but recognise that sometimes People, for whatever reason, change their mind and want to return part or all of the order.

Our returns policy is that for stocked items, you can cancel up to 14 days after the day of delivery for a full refund. You, the customer, are responsible for returning the goods to us within 14 days of you notifying us of your intention to return the goods; you must return the goods in complete, unused and undamaged (as new) condition. The cost of returning the goods is payable by the customer. Please note: Special purchase orders, Bespoke items that are specifically made to order, or items that have been altered, pre-finished or stained a specific colour or cut to size are not refundable unless previously agreed in writing. Before you return the goods, you must contact us by email to receive a return confirmation. This will be done by email. info@doorsandfloors.co.uk

In some instances (Restrictions apply), we are willing to accept part returns left over after installation. To do this, please get in touch with customer services by email at info@doorsandfloors.co.uk, clearly explaining what you wish to return, and we will confirm arrangements with you by email. A restocking fee of 30% of the value of the goods sold and the original delivery cost will be deducted from any monies to be refunded. Please note: After removing the returns, the original order will be recalculated at the relevant price for the quantity purchased. As an example, if an item is £4.00 each or £10.00 for three and you buy three for £10.00 but return one item, you will be refunded £2.00 as you have now only bought two items. Or if you have received free underlay or free delivery due to the volume you were purchasing, but the return brings you below that required price or volume. In that case, you will be charged the delivery cost applicable when the order is placed.

Although we make every effort to ensure your goods are dispatched in perfect condition, in the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged, please contact Customer Services immediately to arrange to replace the goods.

For goods specifically ordered at your request, Hamiltons reserve the right, where applicable, to charge any handling charge and return carriage costs chargeable to us from our supplier.
